Connecticut Legislation Decides Against Tapping Unclaimed Bottle Deposits

Governor M. Jodi Rell recently proposed using unclaimed deposits from Connecticut’s “bottle bill” to help relieve a large budget deficit for fiscal year 2009, but on Monday the state legislation said it would not support the idea and left the deposit funds out of its own budget relief plan.
